We made this cute cake for Easter last year and it was a big hit with kids and adults!
What You'll Need
Box cake mix (and ingredients called for on box)
Food coloring
Frosting (homemade or store-bought)
Bunny Peeps in assorted colors
Jelly beans, candy-coated chocolate eggs, or any other cake decorations you desire!
How To Do It
Mix and bake the cake as directed on the box.
Separate batter to make two 8" or 9" round cakes.
Color each layer of cake with food coloring (we did one blue and one green).
Bake cake as directed and let cool.
Layer cakes on top of each other with a layer of frosting in between. (You may need to cut off the top of the bottom layer so the top one lays flat.)
Cover the entire cake with frosting.
Place alternating colored Peeps around the sides of the cake.
Decorate the top of the cake with the remaining candy treats.
